Behind the Dreams: Meet Kim Sheppard of Knoward

 Meet Kim Sheppard, Director of Knoward, a bookkeeping business in Frankston South.

Tell us about you! What brought you to the Mornington Peninsula?

Kim: Born and bred here, a proud Frankstonian

How do you like to live?

Kim: I love my family, friends and most importantly my sleep (especially in winter).

What’s the highlight of your working week?

Kim: Love to get stuck into some problem to solving.

Describe your business in 20 words 😉, no more!

Kim: We are passionate about empowering small to medium businesses. We don't just take care of your books but instead use this process in a way of keeping our finger on the pulse of your business. We provide solutions from payroll & HR all the way to business analysis and budgets and forecasts.

What do you do on a Saturday?

Kim: Since there is no kids sport on, and the kids are home allllllllll day, I'm usually cleaning or organising something.

What’s your favourite house or garden trend at the moment?

Kim: I still love a good barn door.

Your proudest business moment?

Kim: It has to be, becoming the Bookkeeping Affiliate for Building Dreams Group! It’s an honour. It’s great as it connects my business with our vibrant local design and building industry, and given that our client base is 90% tradies, it feels like a great fit.

What do you secretly wish clients knew?

Kim: I’ve done more accounting work than bookkeeping but I get more satisfaction out of helping business at the ground level

If you were a house… which one would you be? And why?

Kim: An old classic, that never dates (or maybe that’s just what I’m hoping for).
