As the Mornington Peninsula opens up from its second lockdown, it is more important than ever that we maintain the sense of connection our local community is famous for! This is where 'Behind the Dreams' comes in. We'll be meeting our vibrant, local building and design industry professionals for 10 fun, quick-fire questions.
Warren Davis - Director of Davis Made Building
Warren: I am a builder living on the Mornington Peninsula. Originally from England, I moved for a gap year and met my wife at a pub and never returned home to live! The opportunities in Australia meant i could enjoy a better work life balance.
Warren: I definitely work to live meaning i can't keep still for long. I'm a relaxed person and fairly easy going, so I like to live without regret and be care free in making decisions.
Warren: I'm an organised person so when my jobs go according to plan it makes my day.
Warren: Davis Made Building is a custom building business in the Mornington Peninsula who specialises in building new homes and extensions
Warren: Typically, I'll eat breakfast and enjoy a gym workout in the morning, then I like to keep myself busy. I enjoy bike riding with my kids and just spending quality family time together. By the afternoon, I'll be enjoying beers with a good meal at a local brewery on the Peninsula.
Warren: Concrete, natural and timbers together.
Warren: Obtaining my unlimited builders licence, it's been a life long dream of mine.
Warren: That an estimate for their job is not worth the paper it's written on. Neither is a square metre rate. Each project is individual in its own right and deserves the time and effort for a complete cost analysis.
Warren: An old heritage listed house with grand features and plenty of history, on a big block of land. It resembles my English heritage and I appreciate the time and patients to build a heritage masterpiece.
Thank you Warren for sharing a bit about yourself with our Building Dreams community!
