Q1… Who’s the boss?
Mat: I’m the boss! I’ve been running my own business for 20 years, and we entered the Solar Industry 12 years ago. I’m very passionate about the solar industry, and we love installing panels and batteries.
Q2…What’s the worst day on the job?
Mat: The worst days are when it’s raining, as we cant install new panels when it’s wet.
Q3… What’s the best day on the job?
Mat: The best days are when the weather is good, and the team is happy. And a nice roof with a view over the bay can be get. We have some great examples on our Instagram page here.
Q4… What have you learnt the hard way?
Mat: When we first started installing panels, it took some testing and learning to come to the product we use today. Only a select few products on the market hold their durability over time.
Q5… What do you wish everyone could know?
Mat: It’s important to get the right system the first time. When it comes to products, you get what you pay for and durability and functionality are important. And go for the product with a better warranty.
